Every yard, touchdown, and reception your players earn in real life translates into fantasy points. Understanding exactly how those points are calculated helps you build a better roster from day one.
Standard point values (SNS default)
- Passing: 1 point per 25 yards, 4 points per TD, −2 points per interception
- Rushing: 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD
- Receiving (PPR): 1 point per reception, 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD
- Kicking: 3 points per FG (0–39 yards), 4 points (40–49), 5 points (50+), 1 point per PAT
- Fumbles lost: −2 points
Bonus scoring
Some leagues add bonus points for milestone performances: a 100-yard rushing game, a 300-yard passing game, or a receiving TD over 40 yards. Check your league's scoring settings — these bonuses can significantly change the value of certain players.
Defensive scoring
SNS does not use team defenses — all scoring is based on individual offensive skill players and kickers. This keeps the game focused on player-level decisions and eliminates the luck of streaming defenses.
When points update
Points update in real time as games are played. You can watch your score tick up or down during Saturday games. Final scores lock after the last game of the week ends — usually late Saturday night, with Sunday games for certain conference matchups.
